DETROIT – A man who was riding a motorcycle was fatally struck by multiple vehicles, including a semi-truck, on Tuesday night on I-75 in Detroit, police said.
Michigan State Police Second District released information about the fatal crash on Wednesday morning via X, formerly Twitter.
Authorities were alerted to the incident around 10:30 p.m. when multiple people called 911 and reported a crash involving a motorcycle and a man lying motionless on the highway near Dearborn Street, police said.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Using a fingerprint scanner, he was identified as a 41-year-old Detroit man; his name has not been released.
