WASHINGTON — When the Season 22 of "The Bachelorette" premieres in 2026, fans may find a familiar face ready to hand out the roses.

Taylor Frankie Paul, one of the stars of "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," has been tapped as the next star of the reality dating show. Season 22 will begin sometime in 2026.

Paul confirmed she was re-entering the televised dating world in an episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast.

“To be honest, surreal,” Paul said when asked about the news by “Call Her Daddy” host Alex Cooper. “It has not hit me right now in this moment. … I’m like, how is this happening? That’s my answer.”

Asked by Cooper how the casting choice came about, Paul explained that she'd made a TikTok video on a lark a few years ago, when her relationship “wasn’t working out.”
