INGLEWOOD – Assemblymember Tina McKinnor (D-Inglewood) and a host of Los Angeles County legislative leaders are in support of Gov. Gavin Newsom’s proposal of a 15-year extension of a signature program which is a cornerstone of the state’s climate policies and a reliable revenue generator.

Asm. McKinnor, Chair and Senator Maria Elena Durzo (D – Los Angeles), Vice Chair of the Los Angeles County Legislative Delegation (Delegation) and 30 members of the Delegation called for the reauthorization of the state’s historic Cap-and-Trade Program to include annual investments of $3.3 billion to support and expand transit across Los Angeles County.
