Here are some top games on tap for district high school football in Week 3:

Game of the week: Hempfield (3-0) at North Allegheny (3-0), at 7:30 p.m. Friday: This is certainly not the matchup most people would have predicted as the battle of unbeatens in Class 6A this year, but here we are.

North Allegheny had a scare against Woodland Hills in its season opener but rebounded nicely with back-to-back mercy-rule shutouts against Gateway and Penn Hills. The Tigers, though, still have yet to put it all together despite having a lot of pieces in place. Luke Rohan has been solid at running back, and Brady Brinkley is coming into his own under center.
