More than four years after first announcing the feature, Spotify is finally rolling out hi-fidelity audio. The new lossless listening option will come to more than 50 markets through October at no extra cost to premium subscribers.

According to a press release, lossless audio will be available for “nearly every song on Spotify,” with users in the US, UK, Australia, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Sweden already starting to get access.

Spotify’s lossless audio streams in CD quality (24-bit/44.1 kHz FLAC). Once the feature is available, users will receive a notification in the app and can enable the option in the Media Quality section of the Settings and Privacy menu. See a visual guide below. Related Video
