Anthony Rizzo enjoyed his final night before retirement.
The former Yankees first baseman — who became a free agent after New York declined his $17 million option for the 2025 season and paid him a $6 million buyout — tossed back a Bud Light while being shown on the Jumbotron at Yankee Stadium during Tuesday’s 12-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers .
Rizzo, who played for the Bombers from 2021-24, took in the action with his wife, Emily Vakos, and their son, who was born this summer.
The Cubs announced Wednesday that Rizzo is retiring as a member of the team and joining the organization as an amba
