Former New Orleans Saints WR Joe Horn has been selected for induction into the 2026 class of the Louisiana Hall of Fame.
Born in New Haven, CT, Horn attended Douglas Byrd High School in Fayetteville, NC, where he stood as playing at quarterback, tailback, wide receiver, and punter. He played two years at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, MS as well as 2 years in the CFL joining the Baltimore Stallions, Shreveport Pirates and the Memphis Mad Dogs
He began his NFL career as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs, when he was selected in the fifth round (135th overall) of the 1996 NFL Draft. He spent 4 seasons with the Chiefs before signing with the Saints as an unrestricted free agent in 2000.
In his first season in New Orleans, Horn ranked in the top ten in receptions (7th), yards (8th)
