TOWAMENCIN – With the final ticks of the second half coming off the clock, Megan Borro was left with no other option.

“I had to make it in because my team was counting on me,” she said. “And I didn’t want to let them down. So really just I knew I had to shoot it with the little time left.”

Borro’s shot from outside the 18-yard box sailed into the net with just five seconds remaining, breaking a scoreless tie with host North Penn and lifting the Indians girls soccer team to a 1-0 SOL Colonial Division win afternoon at Crawford Stadium.

“I kind of thought it was over,” Borro said. “But it went in, so it’s OK.”
