DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a man in connection with several alcohol license violations.
Robert Devaine Ancrum, 41, is charged with failure to secure a required beer or wine sale permit, unlawful storage or possession of alcoholic liquors in place of business, first offense; and unlawful sale of alcoholic liquors, first offense.
The affidavit stated that while Ancrum was employed at Club Motivation on Aug. 11, he sold an alcoholic beer to an undercover officer. The club did not possess an alcohol license or permit, which is issued by the South Carolina Department of Revenue to sell beer or wine.
The Dorchester County Business License and Hospitality Tax Department requested SLED to investigate.
