SUNSET PARK — OONEE ANNOUNCED on Monday it will launch a secure indoor bike parking hub as a community benefit at One Sunset, a mixed-use building near the 25th Street R station in Sunset Park. The 95-bike facility will offer charging and battery swapping, maintenance and parking. One Sunset, with 187 apartments — 48 affordable at 50% of the Area Median Income on average — and ground-floor retail, opens this fall. Oonee signed a 10-year-lease with the One Sunset partnership team of Ailanthus, BEB Capital and SK Development.

“Inspired by facilities in the Netherlands, this hub will provide the community with easy-to-access services that make using active transportation easier and more convenient,” Shabazz Stuart, founder and CEO of Oonee, said in a release.
