Rangers have been been fined by UEFA for the use of pyrotechnics in their Champions League play-off defeat away to Club Brugge. ‌

Russell Martin 's side were dumped out of the final qualification hurdle to get into Europe's premiere competition with a staggering 9-1 loss over two legs, falling to a 3-1 defeat at Ibrox before being hit for six in Bruges eight days later . ‌

Gers have now dropped into the Europa League where they will face some stellar ties including matches against Serie A giants Roma and two-time Champions League winners' Porto. ‌

But they are now in some hot water with UEFA due to fireworks being thrown by visiting supporters in their 6-0 hammering by Brugge at the Jan Breydel Stadium on August 27.
