Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will reunite on screen yet again this winter in “The Rip,” an upcoming thriller for Netflix .

Netflix released the first trailer for “The Rip” Wednesday morning, showing the Cambridge natives playing a pair of Miami cops who discover a massive stash of dirty money at a stash house.

The official synopsis from Netflix reads: “Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on.”

Director Joe Carnahan (“Smokin’ Aces”) told Tudum that “The Rip” is inspired by events that his friend went through while leading the Miami PD tactical narcotics team, as well as “classic ‘70’s cop thrill
