On Sunday, September 7th, Larimer County officials received a report concerning a person who went missing in Horsetooth Reservoir, near Satanka Cove.

Possible Storm or Microburst Involved

Officials have confirmed that at around 3:30 PM a paddleboarder went missing near Satanka Cove. They believe that a possible storm or microburst played a major role in the disappearance.

There was another paddleboarder with this individual during the time of the incident. They were able to call for help and was rescued, according to reports.
