The BASIS Flagstaff Yetis girls volleyball team picked up its third win of the season in a dominating victory over the Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats in straight sets Tuesday night to open region play. The Yetis only trailed once throughout the three sets.

BASIS got off to a strong start in the first set, going up 6-0 following four aces from freshman setter Sophia Hayes and two unforced errors from the Wildcats. This lead eventually extended to 14-1 and gave BASIS wiggle room as they looked to cruise through the first set. Copy article link
