RIVERVIEW, Fla. (WFLA) — Deputies are searching for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run in Riverview that left one person injured.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 9:40 p.m. on Sept. 6.

A pedestrian was walking near the intersection of Gordon and Anderson Drive when they were hit by a dark-colored single-cab "dually" styled pickup truck.

Deputies said the driver of the truck fled the scene, heading east on Big Bend Road.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment but the extent of their injuries is unknown.
