GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Chick-fil-A will open its first Grand Island location next week.

The new location will be located at 1390 Conestoga Drive on the west side of the Conestoga Marketplace near Highway 281.

If you’ve driven by the area, you’ve seen the restaurant quickly taking shape over the last year. Now, the fast food restaurant is set to open Thursday, Sept. 18.

Guests who dress in cow print can receive one free entrée or kid’s meal. Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Grand Island’s turn to join the herd.

Hours of operation will be from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. They will be offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, and third party delivery.
