Fingers and toes are crossed that outstanding fall weather will once again greet patrons of the second Tailgate Music Festival planned for Mitchell Sept. 20.

“They’re calling for 23 degrees and sunny. . . . We’ll take that every single day of the week,” said Ralph Spoltore of Spottydawg Productions, who’s partnering again with the West Perth Village seniors’ community to organize the show.

Although the long-range forecast looks promising, Spoltore said country music fans are in for a real treat at this year’s festival, regardless of what Mother Nature has in store.

“This is the sneakiest best lineup in the festival world this summer,” he said. “This is a great lineup for Mitchell. The talent we’re going to have on that stage is going to be awesome.”
