SARASOTA COUNTY, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Sarasota County Schools hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new state-of-the-art agricultural learning facility, ‘The Farm’, on Wednesday.
The 40-acre facility began construction in 2023 to improve infrastructure and build barns that model best agricultural practices. Phase two brought a large covered multi-purpose area, state-of-the-art greenhouse, aquaculture and hydroponics, and even a food science demonstration kitchen building.
