Peyton Manning tried his best to complete a Hail Mary.
During his season-opening “ManningCast” of “Monday Night Football” with his brother Eli Manning on ESPN2 on Sept. 8, the former Indianapolis Colts star confirmed he tried to book Pope Leo XIV as a guest , along with Bill Murray, Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley and Pro Football Hall of Famer Randy Moss.
“I think we should let the people know that you tried to book a big-time fourth guest,” Eli Manning said on their broadcast of the Minnesota Vikings-Chicago Bears game. “Is it true that you failed to book Chicago native Pope Leo XIV ?”
