The Blues signed a pair of prospects to three-year, entry-level contracts on Wednesday afternoon, including 2025 first-rounder Justin Carbonneau.

The club also signed Russian forward Nikita Susuev to a contract, and he is expected to be at Blues training camp, which begins on Sept. 18. The Blues have switched to the correct spelling of Susuev's name, which was previously spelled Susuyev.

Carbonneau, 18, was drafted 19th overall by the Blues this summer, becoming the latest offensively-gifted winger to enter the St. Louis system. Carbonneau was second last season in the QMJHL in both goals (46) and points (89) while playing for Blainville-Boisbriand.
