President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan , is taunting Democratic governors across the country as the administration looks to increase its crackdown on illegal immigration.

During an appearance on Fox News, Homan responded to how Boston Mayor Michelle Wu surged ahead in the city’s preliminary election, winning over 72% of the vote, according to the Associated Press . She will face Josh Kraft, the son of the Patriots, during November’s mayoral election.

Wu has been a constant target of the Trump administration, as several officials — including Homan — have repeatedly accused the mayor of not doing enough to combat crime and increase arrests in the sanctuary city. Wu has maintained that she wants Boston to be welcoming for immigrants.
