3 students shot at Colorado high school near Denver, officials say

Three students have been shot at a Colorado high school and are in critical condition, law enforcement officials said.

On the afternoon of September 10, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said on social media a shooting took place at Evergreen High School, located about 30 miles southwest of Denver. The three students were transported to the hospital, where they are in critical condition, the sheriff’s office said .

The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ Denver field division office said in an X post that it was responding to the shooting.
