The Department of Justice is filing to denaturalize an Argentinian man who gained U.S. citizenship by falsely claiming he was Cuban, according to a news release issued Tuesday.
The DOJ and the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida filed the civil denaturalization complaint in the U.S. District Court in Orlando, Florida, against Fernando Adrian Moio Bartolini, 50.

Officials said that Moio Bartolini is a native of Argentina who illegally obtained his U.S. citizenship by gaining permanent resident status through the Cuban Refugee Adjustment Act based on a false claim that he was born in Cuba.
