Although school is out for the summer at Nevermore, one member of the Addams family is getting ready for some independent study.

Following Season 2 of Netflix ‘s Wednesday , Fred Armisen recently confirmed that the spin-off featuring his quirky portrayal of Uncle Fester is still in the works after Deadline announced the project back in December 2023.

“Yeah, we’re working on it,” said Armisen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon . “It’s fantastic… It’s amazing.”

After the Addams Family offshoot’s first season in 2022, Deadline reported that Netflix was working on a spin-off of Wednesday , which was in early development at the streamer from MGM Television.
