The law enforcement agency hopes you’ll add their new podcast to your downloads list.

Inside Matthews Police Department headquarters, you’ll now find an “on air” light. When it’s on, officers are in this podcast space recording the latest episodes of “MPD Connect.”

“It’s my job to come up with content and ways we can create content to reach the public,” Aycock said.
