WARREN, Ohio — Warren G. Harding High School has "respectfully" chosen to cancel its scheduled Sept. 19 football game against Ursuline as the latter school deals with multiple federal lawsuits alleging hazing, sexual abuse, and harassment by its players.

In a statement issued Wednesday afternoon, Warren City School District Superintendent Steve Chiaro said, "The decision was made with careful consideration and the district is confident it is in the best interest of our Warren G. Harding students and our community."
