CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Virginia DMV released a campaign on seatbelt safety and its importance, especially in rural areas.

With more than 1,200 people injured and half of all people not wearing a seatbelt losing their lives, the Virginia DMV saw an urgent need to spread awareness, especially in a state that has several windy roads.
