When Camila Fernández performs at the McCallum Theatre on Sept. 14 as part of the venue's celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the rising Mexican singer says it will feel more like a "big party."

"I'm grateful for the opportunity and happy to represent Mexico and my culture. It's a dream come true," Fernández said during a recent interview with The Desert Sun.
