LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A man from Mississippi County is celebrating after winning big in the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery.
According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL), Robert C. claimed his prize of $200,000 from a $10 Psychedelic Payout scratch-off ticket at the ASL Claim Center on Tuesday.
Reports show that Robert bought the winning ticket at K & M Food Mart in Bassett, a small town with a population of 200.
He was at home scratching his tickets when he realized his good fortune.
“It was cool, a town so small, you wouldn’t think a big ticket would be there. I thought I only won $20 at first and was excited to see more zeros following the initial 20,” he said, as he recalled his first reaction of disbelief and excitement.
ASL said Robert finds his luck is best with scratch-offs
