MANCHESTER, N.H. —
A recent nominee for Congress and current candidate for ward selectman in Manchester is facing a restraining order filed by a neighbor who is a Manchester police officer.
Robert Burns, who was the 2022 Republican nominee for Congress in New Hampshire's 2nd District, said in court Wednesday that he believes the situation escalated unfairly, but a judge upheld the restraining order against him.
"I know I'm a political guy," Burns said during the hearing. "I'm out front. I'm on the newspaper. The camera's here actually right now."
