CNN’s Scott Jennings Says He’s ‘Not Sure It’s Safe to Be an Outspoken Conservative’ Following Charlie Kirk Shooting

CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings said he was in “utter disbelief” and unsure if it is “safe to be an outspoken conservative” in the United States, following the shooting of conservative media star Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University on Wednesday.

Jennings was clearly shaken following the attack. The cable channel’s in-house conservative pundit said the shooting, coupled with the assassination attempts against President Donald Trump a year ago, makes him question whether Republicans need to hide their political affiliation in order to stay safe.
