MOORHEAD — The author of this year’s One Book, One Community selection is set to visit Concordia College at a free event later in September.
Lars Mytting, a Norwegian author of "The Bell in the Lake," will be at Concordia at 7 p.m. on Sept. 29.
The novel was chosen by several area public libraries, along with Concordia, North Dakota State University and Minnesota State University Moorhead’s library, as their celebrated book for 2025.
An official with Fargo Public Library said the book also celebrates historical significance. Two hundred years ago, in 1825, was when the first organized Norwegian emigration came to the United States.
