WARREN TWP., Ohio - Warren Township promoted three officers in their department on Wednesday.

Patrolman Jamey Hoffmann and Dakota Main will now serve as f ull time officers and patrolman Daniel Barb will now serve as a sergeant.

Main has been with the department for eight months. Barb has been with the department for eight years and serves as a school resource officer.

The chief said with the promotions they’ll be cutting out about 80 hours of overtime.

“These guys we’ve worked with them since they’ve been here so we already know what they’re like. We don’t have to readjust or find out what a new guys going to be like so it’s a plus for us,” Chief Ben Harrell said.

The Warren Township Police Department is now at full staff with eight full time officers and one part time officer.
