SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

A man was fatally shot outside a liquor store Wednesday morning in the Lemon Hill area of Sacramento County, officials said. The shooting appears to have stemmed from an argument between two customers.

A pedestrian found the man with critical injuries lying on the ground at Franklin Boulevard and 44th Avenue, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said. CPR was performed and the man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.

A vehicle with a tire strapped to its roof, believed to have been connected to the shooting, was found by deputies at a nearby gas station. Two people were then detained, the sheriff's office said.
