Details of a new school planned for Perth’s far north, expected to accommodate up to 1200 students once fully completed, have been revealed.
The new private school, known as St Matthew’s Anglican School, had its details released for public consultation last month, and is scheduled to open to students in 2027. It will be Yanchep’s first private school.
Stage one of the $17 million project is set to include a two-storey early learning centre, a two-storey science block, two hard courts, a maintenance shed, an oval, and onsite parking.
The school will be built on land just north-east of the Yanchep Railway Station, along a future section of St Andrews Drive — expected to connect to Toreopango Avenue — within the future Yanchep Junction Estate.
