A southbound ramp on I-5 in Seattle has reopened after traffic was completely blocked during morning commutes Wednesday following a semi-truck accident.
Both the southbound I-5 ramp to James Street and the southbound I-5 on-ramp from Spring Street were closed after a semi-truck got stuck, according to the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT).

Drivers and morning commuters were forced to detour to alternate routes downtown before the on-ramp was reopened.
The ramp was reopened by 7:20 a.m. with the collision cleared. The driver received a citation.
