CLARKSVILLE, Ind. — Police in Clarksville say they arrested a teenager while investigating a string of car break-ins.

Over two weeks, Corporal Justice Kraft says neighbors around the Marlowe Drive area of town submitted at least twenty complaints of break-ins. In addition, Kraft says a few cars were reported stolen.

"It was happening on such a consistent basis, we felt that we would probably be able to catch a suspect if we actually staged an operation," Corp. Kraft said.

On Sept. 5, police placed a "bait" car from a local tow lot on the street and used drones to monitor the neighborhood. By 11:30 p.m., someone tampered with the bait car and then broke the window of another vehicle.
