CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Brenda Frazier is inviting the Northeast Ohio community to join The Stomp at the Vineyards of Chateau Hough. From noon to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, attendees will crush Concord grapes for juice. Anyone who “stomps” must wear provided knee-high boots to keep the juice – and their feet – clean.

Central to Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood the chateau is an oasis of winemaking. The ¾ -acre lot has 13 rows of French hybrid grapes – red Frontenac and white Traminette – and a small winery building. Bonded in 2019, Chateau Hough was the creation of late community activist and writer Mansfield Frazier.
