YUBA CITY, Calif. —

A man has died after a suspect wanted for domestic violence crashed into another vehicle and a tree in Yuba City on Wednesday, according to the police department.

Just before 1 p.m., officers responded to a report of domestic violence on Rickey Drive near Railroad Avenue.

Officials said officers arrived to learn the suspect, 32-year-old Marco Hernandez-Mora, had already driven away prior to their arrival. The police department alerted other agencies to be on the lookout for Hernandez-Mora and his vehicle.

Around 1:30 p.m., a Sutter County deputy spotted Hernandez-Mora near the intersection of Franklin Road and Harding Avenue. Yuba City police said that before the deputy could make contact with Hernandez-Mora, the suspect began driving erratically, crossing into onco
