MANCHESTER, Conn. (WFSB) - Three people were displaced after a fire broke out in the kitchen of a two-story, side-by-side duplex in Manchester.

Firefighters responded to the home on Elro Street at around 5:28 p.m.

Three adults were able to get out of the home before firefighters arrived.

Firefighters managed to get the fire under control by 5:47 p.m., the fire department said.

No injuries were reported.

The Red Cross responded to help the victims find housing.

The fire is under investigation.
