Joe Clark chosen as interim superintendent for South Burlington School District

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - South Burlington School District has announced its pick for interim superintendent.

Pending final approval from the Vermont Department of Education, Dr. Joe Clark will fill the role of interim superintendent starting on September 12th.

Acting superintendent Kristin Romick will continue to serve until then.

This comes after Violet Nichols resigned from the position back in July following tension between the school district’s union and Nichols.
