FOXBOROUGH - Drake Maye was excited to get back to work, get on to preparing for the Miami Dolphins.
But part of moving on, part learning from mistakes.
Speaking with the media Wednesday, Maye said there were several areas he needed work on, notably decision-making, being better in the red zone, and accuracy.
He said there were some throws he’d like to have back, missing some guys that were open during the 20-13 loss to the Las Vegas raiders.
His first pass to DeMario Douglas he airmailed. He overthrew Hunter Henry on another pivotal throw. His one interception was an overthrow to Stefon Diggs.
Maye, who completed 30 of 46 passes for 287 yards with a touchdown and interception, said he rushed several throws. But beyond that, he felt like he threw it pretty well throughout the game
