SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Bethesda Academy football team is off to a 2-0 start for the third time in four years.
The Blazers' offense has produced impressive numbers over the first two contests. Bethesda's offense averages over 51 points a game.
Sophomore quarterback Jordan Turner added about 15 pounds of muscle, according to Head Coach Antwain Turner. He really benefited from a good offseason.
Equally impressive early in the season is Bethesda's defense. The first week they went against Hilton Head Christian, a team that operates a spread offense. Then the next week they went against a polar opposite offense in John Paul II, who runs the option.
