Two years after season 3 of the 90% Rotten Tomatoes sitcom ended, Dave star Andrew Santino confirms that the FXX show is officially over. The series revolved around a fictional version of the aspiring and neurotic rapper David "Dave" Burd, whose stage name is Lil Dicky.

There has been ongoing speculation about whether the series would continue with Dave season 4 . In February 2024, FX Networks put out a statement that the show was being put on pause as Burd took an extended break to focus on his music and other creative opportunities.
