Pacific Avenue closed through Sept. 25

Those who regularly travel Pacific Avenue will have to take a detour from their normal route as the city is notifying residents of road closures that will last most of September.

Pacific Avenue is closed between Eastern Street and Cox Street, and Jerome Street through Sage Street. For now, the city is asking that residents detour onto Airfield Avenue. Currently, there is an asphalt replacement project on Central Street meaning the road cannot be used as a detour. However according to city staff, once the asphalt project is completed Central Street will utilized as a detour. The road closure began on Sept, 9 and will continue until September 25.
