MSNBC has reportedly fired political analyst Matthew Dowd, according to a report from Variety , following comments he made on-air Wednesday about the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Dowd’s remarks, which suggested Kirk’s “hate speech” made him an “inevitable target,” drew immediate criticism and led to his swift removal from the network.
