AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - Schools across the country may be seeing prayer is on its way back to the classroom. President Trump made the announcement at a event held at the Museum of the Bible and there are many who love the idea.

An official decision from the Supreme Court of the United States came down in the 1960’s ruling mandatory prayer in public schools and reciting the Lord’s prayer in school was unconstitutional.

President Donald Trump announced while speaking at an event at the Museum of the Bible that the Department of Education will be providing guidance on protection of the right to pray in public schools. The President says it will be quote “total protection.” Auburn mom Amanda Stephens says she loves the idea.
