TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Tuscaloosa County man faces second degree animal cruelty charges after a young puppy was shot.
Arrest records show Nicholas David Selman allegedly shot a 5-month old German Short-Haired Pointer. Animal control says the shooting happened August 27 off Highway 140 in Coker.
According to animal control investigators, Selman shot the dog because it was on his property.
The dog survived, according to Tuscaloosa County Animal Control officers.
