SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Dakota Bowl 48 is Saturday night at McEneaney Field on the campus of the O’Gorman Knights. They will host the powerful Brandon Valley Lynx in the game that Bob Burns started a few days after I moved to South Dakota, promoting high school football.

It’s grown in popularity and raised millions over the years. So Lynx coach Matt Christensen couldn’t be happier to have his kids get a chance to make some lifetime memories along with the host team.

Matt Christensen, Brandon Valley Football Coach says, “Any time extra efforts are made to help young people enjoy a spectacle and an event I’m thrilled about it. I’m thrilled that we celebrate our young people and let the competition bring out the best in them. And we honor that and respect that and recognize it.
