Relieved Cambuslang Rangers boss Paul McColl says Saturday’s 4-1 win at home to Kilsyth Athletic was an important one, after a run of four straight defeats.
Doubles from strikers Godson Nechi and Carlos Lyon handed Camby a win that leaves them eighth in a congested West of Scotland Second Division table, but only three points behind third-placed Blantyre Vics.
McColl said: “It was a good result and I’m happy with the two forwards getting a couple of goals, and a couple of really good performances.
“We needed that, because we had lost four in a row, though I think we were unlucky with that.
“We played well, it was a good result. Two goals for Carlos, two for Godson, so your two strikers have scored a couple of goals, and it was a good result. They started well, then we contr
